Service Offering - The one week Site Assessment for Supply Chain Management
Every site operation has a number of core supply chain management processes that should be deployed. Even if processes are deployed, they may not be yielding value. This assessment programme is aimed to rapidly determine the presence and robustness of key supply chain management processes within the site, and identify where the gaps are, and where improvement should be sought.
Deliverables :
- Review of the effectiveness of the customer service and demand management agenda at the site.
- Review of the effectiveness of 4 walls planning process and the linkage to local operations across different time horizons and aggregation levels, and including capacity management, supply demand balancing, inventory management and product change.
- Review of 3rd party procurement and its linkage to planning.
- Review of the effectiveness of interplant management.
- Review of physical distribution management at the site
- Assessment of the results of team based continuous improvement within the supply chain management team.
- Review value derived from information systems in supply chain management.
- Development of a critical success factor programme in order to drive improvement.
